Technology is the problem and the solution.
I wish I could take credit for this – but I heard it in a webinar. Now I will set the stage: I work in a high school, this week is semester finals week. The Wi-Fi was down right before school started on Wednesday. This presented a problem for the teacher of the programming class. Students could not login to the school network in their classroom. The teacher asked me if he could bring his class to the computer lab in the library to take the final. The programming program the students needed was not accessible on in the library lab, but the students could work in Word if necessary. By working together, the programming teacher and library staff were able to come up with a solution in less than 15 minutes. Technology was both the problem and the solution!
